FINGERPRINT & PHOTO DESTRUCTION
Were you charged, but never convicted? Then you were found not guilty of the charges against you, but your fingerprints and police photos are still in the RCMP database.
These police records can still affect you:
-
in getting your next big job
-
not being able to volunteer
-
participate in educational opportunities
-
deny you custody of your children
-
prevent you from crossing the border
There is no disadvantage in getting you police records erased from the RCMP database, it will give you a fresh start.
We can help you determine if you meet the requirements to have your file taken into consideration for destruction. This service is not available to you if you have been convicted of a crime. You may consider applying for a record suspension (pardon). Fingerprint and photo destruction is also referred to as File Destruction.
Fee includes: helping you navigate through the process, prepare all the required documents, edit, photocopies and answer questions you may have.
Fee excludes: application cost by police services (if applicable), record check (if needed), appeal process (if needed), courier fees and applicable taxes. File destruction is also referred to as record destruction or purge of records.
