RECORD SUSPENSION

A record suspension (formerly called a pardon) can help you move on from your past criminal record. Receiving a record suspension can help you with:

  • a career advancement

  • being able to volunteer

  • further your education

  • obtaining a certain license

  • being able to rent a property

A record suspension is an order that keeps a person's criminal record (of convictions) sealed and separate from other criminal records. Therefore your criminal record will not be visible on criminal record checks.

To help you reduce your stress, we have set up a simply way of navigating through the application process from start to finish.

The Parole Board of Canada (PBC) is responsible for granting, denying and revoking record suspensions. Please note we do not have control over the PBC, statutory eligibility dates or Canadian and American Governments.

Fee includes: helping you navigate through the process, prepare all the required documents, editing if required, photocopies, correspondence with all government bodies and answer questions you may have.

Fees exclude: government fees, such as official police/criminal record, fingerprinting, court costs, filing application fee, courier fees, banking fees and applicable taxes.

Were you charged, but never convicted?  Learn more about how to get your fingerprints and photos removed from the RCMP database.
